Gwen Yvette
Gwen Yvette is an independent R&B/soul singer and songwriter from Coastal South Carolina. She is an artist with extraordinary talent and vocal range. The Harlem-born, St. Helena Island product first picked up a microphone at three years old and performed at community events growing up. Gwen entered the music scene as a professional singer in the early 1990’s, performing with a popular local band. She was later invited to tour with notable musician, Roy C. In 2023, the songstress had a successful run on Fox’s national television show, “The X-Factor.”

Joe’s “double, triple threat” comes from his acclaim as a theatrical composer, songwriter, and astute businessman. Joe was a member of “The Platters” for 23 years and was a regular at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas performing popular songs such as “Only You”, “My Prayer”, “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes”, “The Great Pretender” and many more Number One hits. Joe has also performed with the renowned Barbra Streisand on her Finale Tour, Ben E. King, The Temptations, Smokey Robinson, Natalie Cole, B.B. King, Lou Rawls and many more.

Joe Blunt
At Dataw Private Event Only. Born in Newport News, VA, and raised in Washington, DC, Joe Blunt began his professional singing career, at the age of 18, when he signed his first recording contract with DC’s Cap City Records as a member of R&B vocal group, “The Chancelors” (which also included Glenn Leonard). Joe was the lead singer on the group’s debut single, ”Sad Avenue.” Although the group eventually disbanded, Blunt and Leonard continued their quest for stardom with the formation of a popular local group called the “Instant Groove” and later launched yet another group, “True Reflection,” whose 1973 debut album on Atlantic Records, “Where I’m Coming From,” has become something of a collector’s item among soul music fans all over the world.

Theo Peoples

If you’ve ever heard Theo Peoples’ voice, it’s no secret why many regard him as one of the most ‘AUTHENTIC’ voices in the music industry and agree he has raised the bar high because of his soulful vocal style!. For nearly two decades Theo Peoples’ voice has been critical to the legacy of not just one but two of Motown’s iconic groups – the ‘Temptations‘ AND ‘The Four Tops‘! With classics like “Baby, I Need Your Loving”, “Reach Out (I’ll Be There)” and “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I Got) by the Four Tops to name a few, he has earned the singular honor of being the only man to be a member of both legendary groups, and his bona fide voice has been a ‘well received’ contribution in both cases!

These gentlemen have a back-story right out of a Hollywood movie; they grew up singing in church and on street corners throughout the 1960s!
